I'm launching a new section on the blog: drinks. Eating is good, but drinking is just as important. Rather than drinking sodas with way too much sugar and other strange products, I'm going to suggest that you keep control over your festive drinks. Alcoholic or not. I'll start with a Lemon Mint Iced Tea! Perfect for summer refreshment...
For a long time, the only iced tea for me was the famous Peach Iced Tea. Then, when I moved to Canada, I discovered that peach iced tea is actually a rare commodity. Here, traditional iced tea is made with lemon, which is good but still quite different.
When I lived near the Laurier metro station, I used to go regularly to a little café that I love (Carmen & Felipe). The latter makes an excellent iced tea with mint and lemon. So I decided to try and produce a similar recipe. My recipe isn't yet as good as theirs, but it's already very good and, above all, very easy to make.
