When I think of Savane, I think of the soft texture, the mix of chocolate and vanilla, and the sweet taste of a cake. So I needed to recapture those elements. But I also wanted to improve it a little. The main drawback of marble cake is that it often ends up a little too dry, to the point that if you eat it too quickly like I did, you can choke a little.
