Description

Family pancake batter recipe. Very easy to make and perfect for satisfying your craving for crêpes.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 250 gr Flour
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 gr vanilla sugar
  • 60 ml amber rum

Instructions

Preparing the dough

  1. Pour the flour (250g) and vanilla sugar (8g) into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Pour in half the milk (250 mL) a little at a time, stirring with a whisk.
  3. In a bowl, beat the eggs (3).
  4. Pour the eggs into the bowl containing the flour and milk.
  5. Pour in the remaining milk while whisking.
  6. Add Rum (60 mL)
  7. Leave the dough to rest in a cool place for 30 minutes.

Cooking

 

  1. Heat your frying pan (medium/high heat)
  2. Once hot, drizzle with oil or butter to prevent the dough from sticking during baking.
  3. Using a ladle, pour the batter into the pan, making sure to spread it evenly over the surface.
  4. Once the edges begin to brown, flip the crepe over.
  5. Leave to cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. All set!
